Easy Peanut Butter Cake From Scratch

This is a delicious and easy peanut butter cake recipe from scratch that is quick to prepare. I’ve been making this peanut butter quick bread for years and it’s always a hit with friends and family. The cake is moist, and tender, and made with smooth peanut butter which gives it a tenderly soft texture.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter or crunchy

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease an 8X5 inch loaf cake pan.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder salt, and sugar.
  3. Blend peanut butter into the dry ingredients.
  4. Add milk and beat mixture until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture prepared pan.
  6. Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes or an inserted toothpick comes out dry.
  7. Once the peanut butter loaf cake is baked remove it from the and transfer it to a cooling rack.
  8. Cool for 40 minutes before slicing.
