Notes
- Yule Mule by the Pitcher
- Making Pomegranate Mules by the pitcher (serving 8-10) is easy; it's just a little math! Be sure to check out my Free Christmas Cocktail and Appetizer ebook!
- In a large pitcher, combine the following:
- Variations & Substitutions
- Light Pomegranate Yule Mule
- If you are trying to make a skinny traditional Moscow mule, then purchase light ginger beer or even swap it out for some Club soda; reduce the amount of vodka and pomegranate juice by 1 ounce and you have a good drink.
- Holiday Moscow Mule Mocktail
- It is also simple to make this non-alcoholic beverage for kids or adults. Omit the vodka and increase the pomegranate juice to 3 ounces and ginger beer or ginger ale for kids if preferred.
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 1 ½ - 2 cups vodka
- ½ cup fresh lime juice, start with ½ cup, if it needs more add additional lime juice, each lime yields about 2 tablespoons.
- Stir with a long spoon or the end of a wooden spoon
- Refrigerate until ready to serve
- When ready to serve, slowly pour in 1 liter (about 33 ounces) of ginger beer, place glasses out for your guests and an ice bucket.
- Add a splash | Try adding a little fresh squeezed orange juice, cranberry juice or pomegranate liqueur.
- Whiskey Pomegranate Mules | If you are a bourbon lover, replace the vodka with your favorite whisky or bourbon. This adds a smokier, richer flavor. It's a refreshing twist for an amazing drink.
- Spice it up: Add sliced jalapeño to spice things up a bit.
- Not sweet enough? Add a splash of simple syrup or try this cranberry simple syrup.
