Ingredients

  • red velvet cake mix
  • 8 ounce Cool Whip
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 16 Hershey’s Hugs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix beat cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg.
  3. Pour batter into a greased 8x8 baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle powdered sugar evenly over top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cake to cool for 5 minutes then gently push Hugs into it.
  7. Allow to cool completely and serve.
