Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne optional
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl stir together first 5 ingredients.
  2. Sprinkle both sides of chicken breasts with seasoning.
  3. In a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, add oil. When hot, add chicken.
  4. Cook Chicken breasts on each side for about 10 minutes until no longer pink and juices run clear.
  5. (Please note that the cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts. The thicker the chicken breast, the longer the cooking time.)
