Ingredients

  • 6 egg hard-boiled
  • 1 cup butter unsalted
  • 1/2 onion finely diced
  • 4 garlic minced cloves
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Start by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Next, stir in the onions and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the eggs. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Now squeeze half a lemon into the butter boil.
  6. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  7. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and add to the egg boil sauce.
  8. Cook for 1 minute adding the sauce on top of the eggs. Make sure all of the eggs are generously covered in the butter boil sauce.
  9. Enjoy!
