Ingredients
- 6 eggs hard-boiled
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 onion finely diced
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp red crushed pepper
- salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Start by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Next, stir in the onions and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add the remaining ingredients, except for the eggs. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Now squeeze half a lemon into the butter boil.
- Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and add to the egg boil sauce.
- Cook for 1 minute adding the sauce on top of the eggs. Make sure all of the eggs are generously covered in the butter boil sauce.
