Easy Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew Recipe

No fancy gear needed to make this Starbucks Copycat Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew at home! Made with a few simple ingredients, it’s sweet, creamy, and full of iced coffee flavor. Ingredients

For the Cold Brew
  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee
  • 4 cups cold filtered water
For Vanilla Sweet Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla Syrup (you can make your own using water, sugar, and vanilla extract, see recipe notes)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine ground coffee and water in a container or jar. Stir to mix well.
  2. Let it chill in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.
  3. Strain the mixture using a cloth or with a French press or cold brew machine.
  4. Make vanilla sweet cream by mixing together vanilla syrup and heavy cream.
  5. Fill your glass with ice cubes about 3/4 full, then add the cold brew coffee. (You can add more cold water to dilute the cold brew slightly based on your preference.)
  6. Top with vanilla sweet cream to taste.

Notes

  • To make the homemade vanilla syrup: Combining 1/2 cup boiling water, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.
  • You can customize the sweetness of your drink. Taste and adjust the amount of vanilla syrup for the perfect subtle touch.
