Easy Vegan Brownies

A batch of these freshly baked homemade vegan brownies will satisfy your inner chocoholic! They're just like the brownies you remember from childhood - but veganized! Plus they're simple to make from scratch in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour or gluten free baking flour
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup applesauce
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup Pure Raw Cacao Powder

Instructions

  1. Start by creaming together your sugar, oil, and water.
  2. Add in your flour, salt, applesauce, vanilla, cocoa, and baking soda.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour into a greased 8x8 baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, or until baked through.
  6. Slice into 9 squares. 
  7. Serve and enjoy!
