Ingredients
- 14 Ounces Ebly Wheat Berries *see Notes
- 4 Cups water
- ½ Teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Place ebly wheat berries into a small pot.
- Cover with water and season with salt.
- Keep over a medium-low heat setting to boil. Stir occasionally.
- Cook wheat berries as per package instructions until they are soft, fluffy, and cooked through. This can take about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Strain and discard excess water.
- Serve warm as a side dish with a main course meal of your choice or use further in other meals. i.e salad, soup.

Notes
- This recipe is for instant wheat berries, also known as ebly, and not for soft or hard wheat berries. Soft and hard wheat berries take much longer to cook through (about 60 to 90 minutes).
