Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon milk add more as needed
  • 1/8 vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • pinch of salt

  1. Heat Treat the Flour: Spread the flour out on a microwave-safe plate. Heat it in 15-second intervals until the flour temperature reaches 160 F degree (74 C). About 1 minute in total.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, add butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and salt. Use an electric hand mixer to whip together until pale and fluffy for about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Add flour and mix until combined. Add more milk if needed.
  5. Add chocolate chips and mix using a spatula. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can store the edible cookie dough in the refrigerator. To prevent it from hardening up once chilled, let it rest at room temperature to soften.
