Epic Cheese Sandwich

This isn't just any cheese sandwich, this is an epic cheese sandwich! We have taken a classic lunchtime sandwich and given it a serious upgrade!

Ingredients

  • 4 lice bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 100 g mature cheddar sliced
  • 90 g Wensleydale and cranberry cheese sliced
  • 60 g Chutney
  • 1 carrot finely grated
  • 1 Little gem lettuce chopped
  • 5 cherry tomatoes sliced

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Spread 1 tablespoon Butter over 4 slice Bread and then spread 60 g Chutney over two slices.
  2. Add 100 g Mature cheddar and 90 g Wensleydale and cranberry cheese.
  3. Top with 1 Little gem lettuce and 1 Carrot.
  4. Finish with 5 Cherry tomatoes and another slice of bread.

Notes

  • Make sure to use a really sturdy bread, as there is a lot of filling in this sandwich and you don't want it all falling through the bread.
  • Add some spice by using a chilli jam instead of chutney. 
  • Flavoured cheese is an easy way to add some extra flavour to this sandwich.
  • If you are using 2 different cheeses, try not to use strong flavoured ones for both, as they will battle against each other.
