Espresso Martini

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur I use Kahlua
  • 1 ounce espresso freshly brew and chilled (or cold brew concentrate)
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup (optional)
  • Coffee beans as garnish
Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker half way with ice.
  2. Add the vodka, the coffee liqueur, the chilled espresso and simple syrup.
  3. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds or until foamy.
  4. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
  5. Garnish with coffee beans.
To make simple syrup
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water and sugar, stirring until the sugar has dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  2. Cool, then transfer the mixture to a small container and store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
