Ingredients

  • 40ml / 1 1/3oz vodka
  • 20ml (2/3 oz) Kahlúa
  • 20ml (2/3 oz) espresso cooled, coffee
  • 3 coffee beans , garnish

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the vodka, kahlua and espresso in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously 10 times, then pour briskly into a cocktail glass. (Scrape out foam inside if necessary)
  3. Garnish wtih 3 coffee beans and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use espresso from a proper coffee machine to achieve crema and a foamy top on the cocktail.
  • Cool the espresso before shaking to prevent diluting the drink with melting ice.
  • If no espresso machine is available, add half an egg white to create foam, noting it affects flavor.
  • Garnish with three coffee beans to complete the traditional appearance and aroma.
