- 300 gms beans I used fresh borlotti, but you can use white beans and/or dry beans, 10.5 oz
- 2 cloves garlic
- 200 gms tomato 7 oz. tinned
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil plus more to serve
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 4-5 sage leaves
