Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar optional
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl combine chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt pepper, and cayenne pepper, and whisk together.
- Store in a spice jar or an airtight container.
- To use fajita seasoning, combine 1 pound of meat and 1 ½ tablespoons of seasoning mix (or more to taste). Grill or cook in a cast iron skillet with sliced onions and bell peppers.

- This recipe can made in a big batch and stored for up to 6 months.
- Use 1 ½ tablespoons of homemade fajita seasoning mix to replace 1 packet of fajita seasoning.
