Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp sumac
- 1 tsp zataar
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
- 2 garlic cloves, grated or minced
- 2 tbsp chopped preserved lemon
- 2 tbsp capers
- pinch salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp liquid honey
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil
- bread for dipping (try french bread or focaccia!)
Instructions
- Add the ingredients to a shallow plate or bowl (sumac, zataar, dried oregano, chili flakes, minced garlic cloves, chopped preserved lemon. capers and pinch salt and pepper).
- Drizzle over the honey and olive oil, give it a quick stir and garnish with basil. Serve with pieces of french bread or focaccia.

Notes
- Want to make this ahead of time? Add all of the ingredients to a container except for the fresh minced basil. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days and bring to room temperature before serving with fresh bread.
- Don't have preserved lemons? Try zest from one lemon instead!
- Want to use something instead of capers? Try chopped green olives.
