Ingredients
- 2 cups protein pancake mix
- 2 cups almond milk beverage
- peanut butter
- Apple slices
- granola crushed to look like sand
- blueberries
- strawberries
- orange
- maple syrup optional for serving
Instructions
- Mix together 2 cups protein pancake mix with 2 cups almond milk. Combine until smooth and place into a squeeze bottle (an expired condiment bottle works great!).
- Heat a nonstick griddle or a large 14-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Spray with oil.
- Using the squeeze bottle form the outline of a flip flop with the batter and then fill-in the inside of the sandal shape. Cook the pancakes until they bubble on top, one minute or less. Flip and cook them for just a few more seconds on the second side.
- Place a small amount of peanut butter at the top of the flip flops and then secure with apple slices to form the sandal straps.
- Decorate with crushed granola, blueberries, strawberries and orange slices. Serve with maple syrup and/or whipped cream if desired.
