French Bread Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup salted butter softened
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2-2 cups Pizza Sauce
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces pepperoni slices or toppings as desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic powder, and oregano.
  4. Place the bread on a baking sheet, cut side up, and spread the butter mixture evenly across the top. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
  5. Bake for about 5 minutes, or until the surface has browned slightly.
  6. Remove from the oven and spread the pizza sauce evenly across the top.
  7. Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly and then add desired toppings.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and browned.
  9. Let cool, slice, and enjoy!
