French Toast
The recipe I've been using for many, many years - my famous homemade French toast is sure to please.
Ingredients
- 4 lices Texas style bread (thick sliced type)
- 3 egg
- 1 tablespoon cream half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients (except the bread) in a bowl and whisk.
- Dip each slice of bread into the mixture and coat thoroughly.
- Place on a griddle or frying pan and brown on each side on medium heat.
- Dust with icing sugar and blueberries (if desired) and serve with syrup.
