Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 berries allspice
- 5 cloves
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour or rice flour, diluted in 1 cup (250 ml) of water
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons strawberry essence
- sugar to taste

Instructions
- In a non-stick saucepan, boil water, cinnamon, allspice and cloves for 10 minutes.
- Then add the flour, dissolved in 1 cup (250 ml) of water, and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly for 5 minutes.
- Then add the vanilla extract, strawberry essence and sugar to taste.
- Pour the resulting mixture into a blender and mix for 1 minute. If the drink is too thick, add a little water and blend again for a few seconds.
- Refrigerate for 3 or 4 hours before serving with or without crushed ice.

Notes
- The water can be replaced with milk or with half water and half milk.
