Fresh Strawberry Lemonade [5 Minute Recipe]

Quick and easy strawberry lemonade is a fun, refreshing, child-approved drink made with just 4 ingredients in 5 minutes. It's perfect for enjoying all spring and summer!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 pint of fresh strawberries, washed and tops removed
  • 2 to 3 lemons, peeled
  • sugar or sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 2 cups of ice + more to taste

Instructions

  1. Add water, strawberries, 2 lemons, sugar, and ice to a high-power blender. Blend for 1 minute. Taste and adjust the lemon and sugar levels. Blend again if you added more of any ingredients.
  2. Store in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy. Optionally, use a strainer to strain the pulp for a smoother drink. Serve with more ice if needed.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness/tang: Based on the berry sweetness and preference. Start with a portion of each, blend, then adjust to taste.
  • To avoid diluted lemonade: Serve the lemonade in cups with ice rather than blending it directly into the pitcher of lemonade. Alternatively, make lemonade ice cubes,  so they don’t dilute as they melt.
  • Leave it to rest: If you have the time, leave it to chill for 30-60 minutes before serving to help the flavors meld.
  • Make strawberry lemonade ice pops: Have leftovers? Pour them into a popsicle mold and enjoy as a frozen treat.
