Ingredients
- 600 gms fresh tuna 1 1/3 lbs
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves
- 8 mint leaves
- 280 gms tomato concentrate 10 oz
- 120 gms tomato paste triple tomato concentrate - if you cannot find this, substitute it with the same amount of normal tomato concentrate, 4.25 oz
- 300 ml water 1 ¼ cups
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Notes
- This sauce is great to have with pasta. You can either use the tomato sauce only, or cut the tuna into small pieces and add that too.
