Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 ounces smoked sausage sliced
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium head green cabbage cored and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Mix in the chopped cabbage, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and begins to brown, about 10 minutes.
