Fried Halloumi Cheese with Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces halloumi cheese
  • 5-10 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dry oregano

Instructions

  1. Slice the halloumi in slices about ½ inch thick
  2. Slice the tomatoes on half.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a small pan and fry the halloumi for about 2 minutes on each side until golden.
  4. Add the tomatoes when sautéing the other side of the halloumi.
  5. Remove from the pan and sprinkle the oregano.
  6. Squeeze a bit of lemon on the cheese before serving.
