Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter , melted
- 1 cup pancake mix
- 26 Oreo cookies , 1 package
- vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar , optional
- 1 cup raspberry jam
Instructions
- To a large bowl add the milk, egg and melted butter and whisk well.
- Sift pancake mix, then add to the bowl and whisk well until no lumps are left.
- Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Heat 3" of oil in a large pot to 375 degrees.
- Dip the cookie in the batter then carefully add to the oil.
- Fry 3-4 Oreo cookies at a time.
- Fry for 1 minute on each side, until golden brown.
- Cool for 2 minutes then dust with powdered sugar and serve with raspberry jam.
