Frozen Blackberry Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 pints fresh blackberries may substitute frozen
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup triple sec or other orange-flavoured liquor
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar optional

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a smoothie-style blender and puree until smooth. (If using frozen blackberries, use 1 cup less ice). 
  2. Pour into a margarita glass and garnish with a slice of lime or a cocktail stick full of blackberries.
