Frozen Blood Orange Margaritas

Ingredients

  • 2 blood oranges juiced
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 cup white tequila
  • ¾ cup triple sec
  • 3-4 cups ice
  • sugar (to rim glass – optional)
  • slices blood orange and lime (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. To rim the glasses, place 1/4 cup of sugar on a plate and moisten the top of each glass with a lime wedge. Run wet rim over the sugar until evenly coated.
  2. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender (blood orange juice through ice) and puree until smooth. Pour into sugar-rimmed glasses to serve and garnish with blood orange and lime slices.
