Ingredients
- For the margarita:
- 2 cups dark sweet cherries frozen
- ½ cup tequila silver
- 2-3 tablespoons agave syrup or simple syrup, depending on how sweet you like it
- ¼ cup lime juice freshly squeezed from about 3 limes
- 1 cup ice cubes
- For serving:
- lime fresh, for rimming glasses & garnishing
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt or turbinado sugar for rimming glasses
- Cherry fresh, for garnishing, optional
Instructions
- Start by preparing your glasses: Add salt or sugar to a small plate. Use a lime wedge to wet the rim of the glass, then turn the glass upside down and place it into the salt or sugar, turning it side to side to coat the rim.
- Add frozen cherries, tequila, agave (or simple syrup), and lime juice to a high-powered blender and blend on high until smooth. Add ice cubes and blend again until smooth, using a blender tamper or wooden spoon to stir if things are getting stuck.
- Pour margarita into the rimmed glasses and garnish with a thin wheel of lime and fresh cherries if desired. Cheers!
