  3. Place the baking sheet in the oven immediately. There's no need to wait for the oven to finish preheating.
  4. Bake the wings for 50 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a wing reads 160°F.
  5. Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
