Frozen Green Bean Recipe

I love an easy vegetable side dish recipe, it helps me keep our meals balanced without a lot of fuss. This easy green bean recipe fits that bill, it's no-fuss and tastes delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 tabelspoon butter
  • ½ cup purple onion sliced thin
  • 12 ounces green beans frozen, 1 small bag
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in the saucepan. 
  2. Add onions and cook for 3 minutes, or until they start to soften. 
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients. 
  4. Bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 8 minutes, or until most of the liquid is gone from the pan.
