Frozen Hamburger Seasoning Recipe

Makes a little more than 5 teaspoons of seasoning. I recommend to use about ½ teaspoon per frozen hamburger patty (¼ teaspoon per side).

Ingredients

  • 10 frozen hamburger patties
Seasoning ingredients:
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes*

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Take the frozen hamburger patties out of the freezer and separate. (Use a spatula to separate them if they're sticking together.) Let the patties sit out at room temperature for a few minutes until starting to thaw on the surface. (This will help the seasoning stick to the patty.)
  2. Meanwhile, add all seasoning ingredients to a bowl and mix until well combined.
  3. Sprinkle about ¼ teaspoon of seasoning onto each side of each hamburger patty.
  4. Cook the patties on the stovetop, the grill or in the oven.

Notes

  • *1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes will make this seasoning quite spicy. Use less pepper flakes to make the seasoning less spicy.
