Frozen Strawberry and Mango Margaritas

Ingredients

The Rim:
  • 2 tablespoons salt approximately
  • 1 lime wedge
The Margaritas:
  • 2 shots tequila ⅓ cup
  • 1 shot triple sec 2½ tablespoons, or Cointreau
  • ½ cup lime juice juice of 2 limes
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup Mango or sliced strawberries
  • 2 Lime slices to garnish

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Pour salt over a small plate; rub the lime wedge over the rim of each glass. Dip each glass into the salt and set aside. (Or transfer to the refrigerator to chill.)
  2. Blend the Tequila, Triple Sec (or Cointreau), lime juice, ice and fruit together until ice is crushed and the consistency of a slushy. Add more ice as needed. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If the slushy is too strong for your tastes, add ¼ cup lemonade to dilute the alcohol and add some sweetness!
