Ingredients

  • filtered water double boiled and cooled
  • strawberries
  • orange slices
  • lemon slices
  • kiwi

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Wash the fruits and chop them into small pieces; arrange in the ice cube tray. If you’re using mint or any herbs, press them slightly with a knife or spoon to allow them to release their flavor.
  2. Pour the filtered double-boiled water over the fruit. Freeze for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Enjoy with a cup of water, lemonade or on their own

Notes

  • Storage: Store any leftovers back in the freezer. They will last up to 3 months.
  • Make Ahead Tips: Boiling the water takes up the most time since you have to double boil i. If you have this done in advance, it will save you prep time.
  • Equipment: You can use any ice cube tray to make the fruit ice cubes. I used the iceology trays from Dexas, which removes impurities and bubbles during the freezing process. It makes for crystal clear ice so you can skin the double boiling process.
