Ingredients
- 8 mint leaves
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- ¼ cup Fruit strawberries, mango, pineapple, lime, blueberries, and passion fruit all work well, of choice
- 1 cup ice crushed
- 1 hot white rum 1.5 fl oz, 50 mL
- ½ cup club soda 120 mL
- ½ lime juiced, optional
Instructions
- Muddle: Add mint leaves, sugar, and fruit to a glass and gently muddle to release the oils in the mint and break up the fruit into a mash (use a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon!).
- Assemble: Add ice to the glass, then add the shot of rum and club soda, optionally squeezing in the juice of half a lime (if it suits the fruit you're using).
- Serve: Garnish with lime wedges and fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- *Alternatively, rub mint between your palms to release their oils.
