Fruit Punch Recipe
This Fruit Punch combines thawed orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate, pineapple juice, water, and strawberries frozen into an ice ring, topped with lemon-lime soda. The combination delivers a bright, citrusy, and slightly sweet flavor, elevated visually by the floating strawberry ice. The recipe makes a large batch suitable for parties and allows for advance preparation.
Ingredients
- 2 (6 ounce) cans orange juice concentrate thawed (see note 1, frozen
- 2 (6 ounce) cans lemonade concentrate thawed (see note 1, frozen
- 1 (48 ounce) can pineapple juice (see note 1)
- 3 cups water
- 2 pints strawberries hulled (see note 2)
- 1 (1 liter) bottle lemon-lime soda such as Sprite (see note 3)
Instructions
- Combine the orange juice, lemonade, pineapple juice, and water and stir well.
- Place the whole strawberries into a ring mold. Pour in enough fruit juice to fill the mold. Freeze. Refrigerate the remaining juice.
- When ready to serve, pour the fruit juice into a punch bowl and add the soda. Float the strawberry ice ring in the punch.
Notes
- Use thawed frozen orange and lemonade concentrates for robust flavor; pineapple juice adds tropical sweetness.
- Freeze whole strawberries in a mold with juice to create a decorative, flavored ice ring.
- Substitute other fruit juices like mango or passionfruit if preferred, or use ginger ale instead of lemon-lime soda.
- This recipe makes about 24 servings; halve ingredients for smaller batches.
- Prepare juice and ice ring up to three days in advance for ease on serving day.
- Store any leftover punch covered in the refrigerator for up to four days.
