Fruity Pebbles French Toast
The Fruity Pebbles French toast recipe is so easy and so good. Fruity Pebble French toast recipe combines delicious flavor and nostalgia.
Ingredients
- 6 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal or your favorite cereal, crushed coarse
- 2 ¾ cups half and half
- 3 large egg
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 ¼ tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 ¾ teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 loaf sandwich bread 20 slices, square, cut into 1-inch-thick slices
- ½ cup vegetable oil
Serving Suggestions

- powdered sugar or icing sugar

- Fresh fruit
- syrup or maple syrup
Instructions
- Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
- Place rimmed baking sheet on top of oven middle rack, and heat your oven to 450 degrees.
- Set your wire rack inside other rimmed baking sheet and set aside.
- Place crushed cereal in 13 by 9 inch baking pan or the equivalent.
- Add half and half, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to a large bowl. The more shallow the bowl the better.
- Whisk until blended.
- Soak each slice of bread in the half and half mixture.
- At least 10 seconds per side.
- Until totally saturated.
- Take saturated bread and press gently in cereal until fully coated. Place on prepared wire rack.
- Repeat with all of the remaining bread.
- Add oil to your preheated rimmed baking sheet and make sure entire baking sheet is coated. Allow baking sheet to heat oil up until almost smoking, 3 or 4 minutes.
- Carefully remove baking sheet from oven and place coated bread on sheet. Bake until golden brown and crisp, about 20 minutes. Flip once by the 10 minute mark and don't forget to rotate your pan if your oven has any hot spots.
- Remove from oven.
- Transfer toast to clean wire rack and allow to cool for a few minutes. Serve with desired toppings, check out our list of sides and enjoy every bite.
