Garlic Basil Pesto with Pasta
Easy to make, classic basil pesto, combining some Italian staples like basil, garlic, and parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 oz basil about 2 cups
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/3 /3 c pine nuts
- 1/4 /4 c Parmesan Cheese grated
- olive oil about 1/2 cup
- salt
- 1 lb pasta
Instructions
- Pulse garlic in food processor until finely chopped
- Add nuts, cheese and a pinch of salt. Pulse to combine
- Slowly drizzle oil in the running processor until desired consistency reached (about 1/2 cup oil)
- Salt to taste. Makes about enough for 1 lb. of pasta.
