Garlic Beef Ramen Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 6 ounces ramen noodles seasoning packets discarded (2 packages)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 red bell pepper chopped
- 1/2 pound broccoli cut into florets
- 1 cup shredded carrots
For the sauce
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha optional
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 2 tablespoons water
Garnish
- sliced green onions
- sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add ramen noodles and cook until tender, about 2 minutes. Drain the noodles.
- To make the sauce, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, Sriracha, and garlic, and ginger. Combine the cornstarch and water to make a slurry, then whisk into the sauce.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as you go. Once cooked, drain any excess grease and remove from pan and set aside.
- Heat the oil in the skillet and then add onions, peppers, carrots and broccoli and cook until tender, about 6-8 minutes. Stir in the cooked ground beef and ramen noodles.
- Pour the sauce over the skillet and toss until completely combined, then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
