Garlic Bread Recipe

This is by far our favorite Garlic Bread recipe. It takes minutes to put together and is SO cheesy and delicious. It's the perfect side dish for any meal, but especially for pasta and Italian dishes!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅓-½ cup Italian dressing
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic 
  • 1 loaf Italian bread, halved lengthwise
  • 2 cups shredded Colby jack cheese (or mozzarella cheese)
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl, blend butter, dressing and garlic.
  3. Place bread cut side up on a baking sheet and spread butter mixture over both halves.
  4. Top bread with cheese and parsley.
  5. Bake, uncovered, for 12–14 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: You can make this bread ahead of time and freeze for up to 3 months. Once the recipe has been assembled and baked, let cool and slice. Place in a large resealable plastic freezer bag and freeze. To reheat, place frozen pieces on a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees F for 4–5 minutes.
