Garlic Burger

Make a tasty double cheeseburger flavored with garlic seasoning and garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound ground beef chuck (80/20)
Garlic Burger Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic minced
Cheese and Buns
  • 8 lices American cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Divide ground beef into 8 small balls.  
  2. Combine salt, black pepper, onion salt, and garlic salt together in a small bowl.
  3. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Cook until the garlic butter becomes fragrant.
  4. Brush the garlic butter onto the cut side of the buns and place the buns on the skillet to toast. Toast the buns long enough so the bread begins to brown.
  5. Place the buns cut side down in the skillet and toast until lightly browned.
  6. Brush a small amount of the butter on top of the ground beef balls and then sprinkle some garlic salt on top.
  7. Heat a skillet to medium-high heat. (Cast iron recommended)
  8. Place the ground beef balls in the skillet and use a spatula to press the balls into patties.
  9. Season patties with the seasoning mixture.
  10. When the burgers have browned on one side, flip them over and add a slice of cheese to each patty. Cook to desired doneness.
  11. Place two patties onto each bun.
  12. Add any desired toppings. Enjoy!
