Garlic Butter
Add some flavor to your meals with this simple and delicious homemade garlic butter recipe. This easy compound butter is seasoned with fresh parsley and takes minutes to make.
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter or spread of choice, softened at room temperature, unsalted
- 2 garlic minced, cloves
- 2 tablespoons parsley fresh chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper ground
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a small serving bowl, and using a fork mash and mix until combined.
- Store in a jar and keep refrigerated.
- Serve over sweet potatoes, vegetables, chicken, or as a spread on bread.
Notes
- Garlic butter keeps well for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator or 6 months in the freezer.
- Soften your butter before mixing it with the other ingredients so that everything combines easily.
- You can use any butter or spread to make this recipe. Grass-fed butter or vegan butter will all work.
