Garlic Mussels on Toast

A quick and simple lunch that's ready in 5 minutes, garlic mussels on toast!

Ingredients

  • 240 g Pack fresh cooked mussels
  • 1-2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 20 g butter
  • 2 Slices of wholemeal bread
  • 2 Slices of lemon partially cut down the middle

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter and garlic in a frying pan.
  2. Put the bread in your toaster to toast.
  3. On a medium heat add the mussels and fry turning regularly for about 3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Butter the toast and divide the mussels between the 2 slices of toast.
  5. Decorate with the lemon which you squeeze onto the mussels.
