Garlicky Asparagus with a Splash of Lemon

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup of water
  • 1 bunch of asparagus woody ends removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic thinly sliced
  • Sea Salt and Freshly Cracked Pepper to taste
  • Splash of lemon juice to tastet

Instructions

  1. Heat ¼ cup of water in a small skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the asparagus to the pan and cover it with a lid. Steam the asparagus for 3-4 minutes, or until fork-tender.
  3. Remove the asparagus and water from the skillet, then add the olive oil.
  4. Once the olive oil is hot, add the garlic chips and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
  5. Add the asparagus to the pan, then toss it to coat it evenly; season it with sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and a splash of lemon juice.
  6. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
