German Cucumber Salad
This refreshing and creamy German Cucumber Salad is the perfect, gourmet summer side dish.
Ingredients
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons dill chopped, fresh
- 2 cucumber thinly sliced, English
- ½ red onion thinly sliced, medium
- salt to taste
- black pepper freshly ground, to taste
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sour cream, white vinegar, sugar, and chopped dill until well combined.
- Add the thinly sliced cucumbers and red onion to the dressing and toss until they are evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
