Ingredients
Potato Salad
- 500 g waxy potatoes for jacket potatoes!
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 fresh cucumber peeled, finely sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 onions yellow
Dressing
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp white vinegar optional
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 1-2 tsp salt
- pepper
Serving Suggestion
- fresh chives, parsley or dill
- 2 pair Frankfurt Sausage (4 sausages)
Instructions
Cook the potatoes
- Depending on their size, cook the jacket potatoes in salty, boiling water until done but not overcooked. They should be soft but not mushy. Suggested cooking times:For small potatoes - 15min, Medium - 18 min And large - 20 minutes.
- Place slices of the cucumber in a small bowl and add 1 tsp salt. Stir it and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Chop the onions.
- At this point, the potatoes should be ready. Drain the potatoes and let them cool down a bit before you start peeling them.
- Remove excess water from the cucumber.

Prepare the dressing:
- Mix mayonnaise, mustard, white wine vinegar, marjoram, salt and pepper to prepare the dressing.
Make the salad
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.
- Combine cucumber, onion, potato slices and dressing; mix well.
- Set aside for at least 30 minutes. Correct seasoning if you need it.
