Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup or honey
  • ⅔ cup creamy all natural peanut butter
  • 1 ¼ cups old fashioned rolled oats

Instructions

  1. First, add maple syrup and peanut butter to a mixing bowl. Stir until combined.
  2. Next, stir in rolled oats until completely combined.
  3. Use cookie scoop or hands to into balls. Place on parchment lined plate or pan.
  4. Serve immediately or store in fridge until needed.

Notes

  • Pure maple syrup, honey, and date syrup can all be used.
  • Use all natural creamy peanut butter.  It should be made with only peanuts and sea salt.  Added oils will yield much more dry, thick oatmeal balls.
  • Use gluten free oats for gluten free.
  • Quick oats may be used, but the balls may not hold together as well.
  • Any nut butter can be used.
  • Store at room temperature or in fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze for up to 2 months if desired.
