Ingredients

  • ½ ½ cup honey
  • ½ ½ cup water
  • 2 2 teaspoons dried lavender flowers culinary grade

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, and lavender flowers. Heat over medium-low heat until just simmering stirring occasionally until the honey is dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and let sit for 20-60 minutes to allow the lavender to fully infuse. I recommend taste testing at various points to ensure the lavender flavor doesn't get too strong, and moving to the next step when it's to your liking.
  3. Strain the syrup into a jar using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
