Ingredients

Honey Lavender Simple Syrup
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers culinary grade
Iced Latte
  • 2-3 teaspoons lavender honey simple syrup
  • 3 ounces Espresso (2 shots) or ½ cup cold brew concentrate
  • 4 ounces oat milk more or less to taste
  • ice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, and lavender flowers. Heat over medium-high heat until slowly simmering, until the honey is dissolved (it will only take a minute). Remove from heat and let sit for 20-60 minutes to allow the lavender to fully infuse. Strain the syrup into a jar using a fine mesh strainer. You can use it immediately if needed.
  2. For 1 Latte: Pour approximately 2 teaspoons of the lavender honey simple syrup in a 12 ounce glass or jar to drink from. You can adjust the sweetness level as needed. Add the espresso and stir to combine. Fill the glass with ice, then pour in the milk and stir to combine. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • The lavender honey simple syrup will make enough for about six lattes (1/4 cup total). Store the extra syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
