Ingredients

  • 4-5 4-5 large strawberries quartered
  • 5 5 mint leaves
  • 1/8 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper or to taste
  • ice
  • 1.5 1.5 oz vodka
  • club soda to taste

Instructions

  1. In an old-fashioned glass, add strawberries, mint leaves, and black pepper*. Muddle until combined.
  2. Add about 4 ice cubes to the glass and pour in vodka, and stir to combine. Add additional ice and top off with club soda. Stir as needed, and add mint, a strawberry, and additional black pepper to garnish.

Notes

  • You can strain the strawberry pieces out of the drink if desired; do so just before serving.
  • Adjust black pepper according to your tastes, you may want to start with less and add more as needed.
