Ginger Berry Fruit Smoothie
Juicy berries, tart apples, and ripe bananas are blended with fresh ginger root to give this fruity smoothie a kick.
Ingredients
- 1 medium banana (frozen or fresh)
- 1 apple (cored and quartered )
- 1 cup mixed berries frozen
- 2 cups spinach optional, frozen
- 1 inch-piece ginger root (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
- 1 cup water
- ice (to thicken)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth. Add ice until you've reached desired consistency.

- Excellent source of Vitamin A and C, good source Iron and Calcium.
